Scope of Work & Supply

Project Overview:

Semac Construction is undertaking the installation of a new metering system for the 4th Metering Train at U-3020 Aghia Triada Station. This system will ensure accurate gas flow measurement across the full operating range, supporting enhanced gas transmission and compliance with the highest standards.

Key Components & Requirements:

Metering System Composition:
One (1) Ultrasonic Meter (USM) with metering instruments and a flow computer.
One Pressure Transmitter and one Temperature Transmitter installed downstream of the flow meter.
Integration with existing Gas Chromatographs for precise gas composition data.
Performance & Compliance:
All equipment shall be CE-marked and meet ISO 17089-1 and AGA Report No. 9 performance specifications.
Fiscal USMs will be Class 1 meters, ensuring system uncertainty (mass flow) < ±1.0% and total USM uncertainty < ±0.5%.
The meter will have a turndown ratio of at least 1:100, with high precision and repeatability < 0.05%.
Calibration deviation limited to ±0.3% from Qt to Qmax of the USM.
The total metering system error will not exceed ±1.0% at a 95% confidence level over the full operating range.
Flow Computer & Data Integration:
The flow computer will calculate instantaneous and integrated mass, volume, and energy flow rates.
Flow equations will be customized for the metering system, incorporating gas composition data from existing Gas Chromatographs.
Interfacing & Collaboration:
Semac Construction will ensure seamless interfacing between the new metering system and existing systems.
Active collaboration with all suppliers and project stakeholders will be maintained to ensure smooth integration and timely project delivery.
This upgrade will significantly enhance measurement accuracy, gas flow management, and regulatory compliance at the U-3020 Aghia Triada Station, further optimizing the facility's operations.
